Incidentally, I have plenty of experience of how Japanese companies work. ![]() If you can't see that this whole ordeal isn't normal in the slightest, then honestly I don't know what to tell you. Their name wouldn't get scrubbed off if things were all fine and dandy. Right now it looks like PG never had any involvement on the project to begin with, if we go by all official sites. Regardless of how messy things are, press releases are always going to sound as professional as possible, because PG naturally doesn't want to give the impression to potential business partners that if things don't go as planned they'll make a stink about it. The very fact there was any announcement at all alone makes this suspect. When a contracted dev finishes their part, no announcement is made, because that's pretty normal and how contracts work in general. Large projects, especially in Japan, almost always have contractors working on them. There are several words that can be used to accurately describe the situation, and "removed" is one of them.
